An agent with MCP: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or ChatGPT with connectors. Its subscription is separate.
8 GB of memory and Docker. The free WSL track helps you install Docker.
Up to 10 new paid labs a day. The agent shows the full solution after 10 minutes of work and three hints.

For a mock interview: run a mock interview. If you're experienced, tell the agent harder, and it will stop holding your hand.

Connect an agent

Make a folder for practice. The agent will put the lab files there: mkdir izi-k8s && cd izi-k8s

Cursor will open a window to install the izi server. Click Install.

Your browser will open: sign in to izidevops and click Allow.

ChatGPT

Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode. Create → URL https://izidevops.com/mcp, Authentication: OAuth. Sign in to izidevops and click Allow. Requires a Pro, Team, Enterprise, or Edu plan.

Claude.ai

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → URL https://izidevops.com/mcp → Connect, then Allow.

In browser-based agents, you run terminal commands yourself. For any other agent with MCP, use the address https://izidevops.com/mcp and the header Authorization: Bearer with the personal key from "Other ways".

It's already in the command above. You only need it separately for agents without browser sign-in. Don't paste it into web chats, and don't commit it.

Rules kit for Claude Code

Optional. A folder with tutor rules and guardrails: on its own, the agent only runs commands that don't change anything.

Unpack it tar xzf izi-kit-v13.tar.gz and run the agent in the folder izi-k8s.
